This year as well Embedded World has been a great success for ST, with 38 ST demonstrations and 28 Partners showing their innovative applications enabled by our STM32 products. At the STM32 Fan Zone, ST has provided 5,500 STM32 and NFC boards for free.

EW18: See the First Demos of the Most Advanced Cellular Discovery Kits

P-L496G-CELL01 and P-L496G-CELL02 are ST’s first Discovery kits that come with a cellular modem, and they will be one of our demos at Embedded World 2018. ST25DV-W, a new simple but powerful NFC element with standalone PWM generation functionality

The ST25DV-W series of dynamic NFC/RFID tags offers a 13.56 MHz long-range interface compatible with NFC phones and readers. The ST25DV02K-W1/W2 device is an NFC/RFID tag IC with PWM outputs. The PWM output can be programmed independently and securely, allowing a large field of application. The IC provides live update of PWM parameters by contactless interface, extending the user experience.

STM32 Cellular to Cloud Discovery Packs: 2G/3G and Espruino JS, LTE IoT

Two STM32 Discovery Packs for fast connections of IoT devices to Cloud services over 2G/3G or LTE Cat M1/NB1 networks are made to bring freedom and flexibility for mass-market developers. Each pack contains an STM32L496 Discovery board and STMod+ Cellular expansion board featuring a Quectel cellular modem. The software provided includes the Espruino embedded JavaScript engine ported to the STM32L496 ultra-low-power microcontroller and an expansion package -- X-CUBE-CLD-GEN – compatible with the STM32Cube ecosystem.

Teseo-LIV3F a tiny GNSS module

The Teseo-LIV3F is an easy-to-use standalone Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) module with an embedded Teseo III single-die positioning receiver IC able to work simultaneously on multiple constellations (GPS/Galileo/Glonass/BeiDou/QZSS). Within its 9.7 x 10.1 mm compact size, the Teseo-LIV3F offers superior accuracy thanks to its embedded 26-MHz temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) and a reduced Time To First Fix (TTFF) relying to its dedicated 32-kHz real-time clock (RTC). The Teseo-LIV3F supports data logging for continuous storage of position, velocity and time information inside its embedded 16-Mbit Flash memory.
