Smart plug

Smart-Plugs are working in a Home Area Network for energy management and energy saving. They allow to monitor energy consumption over time and to switch on and off power in order reduce e.g. standby power, to prevent power network overload in a smart grid and to remotely manage a load in a wireless or wired HAN.
