ST has launched a new concept of extremely thin (200 µm), rechargeable solid-state batteries with fast recharge and long life cycle. The EnFilm has an LiCoO2 cathode, LiPON ceramic electrolyte and a lithium anode. The device has a footprint of 25.4 x 25.4 mm.
