PHILIPPE LAMBINET Corporate Strategy Officer Executive Vice President, General Manager, Digital Sector Philippe Lambinet is Corporate Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President and General Manager of STMicroelectronics’ Digital Sector, and has held this position since January 2012. In February 2012, he gained additional responsibility for Investor Relations and External Communications. Lambinet is a member of ST’s Corporate Strategic Committee, sits on the Boards of Directors of ST-Ericsson SA and ST New Ventures SA, and also has responsibility for the Company’s Grenoble, France site.

Lambinet joined Thomson-EFCIS, a predecessor company to STMicroelectronics, in 1980, and rose to become General Manager of ST’s Digital Video Division in 1997, where he drove the Company to become the leading supplier of integrated circuits for set-top boxes. From 2001 to 2007, Lambinet served as Chief Operating Officer and later as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Advanced Digital Broadcast Group, one of ST’s customers in the digital home entertainment arena. In 2007, Lambinet rejoined ST as General Manager of the Home Entertainment & Displays Group.

Lambinet sits on the Board of Directors of the Global Semiconductor Alliance.

Philippe Lambinet was born in Le Mans, France, in 1957, and graduated with a Master’s degree in Electronics from the Paris Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité.
