Sustainability in supply chain For a large multinational company like ST, effectively managing suppliers and subcontractors is a major challenge on a daily basis. Our business also depends on our supply chain, which must remain stable and reliable over time. Our belief is that the most sustainable supply chain is one made up of companies that share our commitment to sustainable development. |

This belief is shared by many of the actors in our industry – including customers, competitors, suppliers and subcontractors. As a consequence, the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) supports the development a standard industry supply chain code of conduct assessment and monitoring system. Sharing and implementing the EICC vision and goals As a full member of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), STMicroelectronics fully supports the vision and goals of the EICC:
STMicroelectronics commits to conform to the EICC Code of Conduct in its own operations, progressively implementing the EICC approach and tools in the spirit of the industry's common goals. STMicroelectronics also commits to progressively apply the EICC Code of Conduct to its first tier suppliers, to monitor its application to the best of its ability using EICC practices and tools, and to encourage and support its suppliers to do the same. Our company Code of Conduct, called Principles for Sustainable Excellence, includes all aspects of the EICC Code of Conduct.
