Dear all,
I am using ST72561 controller on one board and am trying to transmit a single message through the can controller.
The baud rate selected is 250 kbps and hence the value put in CBTR0 and CBTR1 registers are 0x47 and 0x14 respectively for the following conditions (BRP = 7, BS1 = 4, BS2 = 1, SJW = 1 and Fcrystal =16 MHz). All the recieve filters are deactivated as described in the datasheet of the ST7 controller. i am using the extended identifier mode (29 bit) and the identifier used for transmitting a message is 0x00000010.
Whenever we transmit the message for the above described setting, i am getting "FORM ERROR" for that. i want to know the factors that can lead to this kind of error and how can we get rid of it?
Can anybody help me in this issue ? Has anybody faced this kind of problem earlier for any controller? if yes, then kindly share your expereince.
