Corporate Vice President, Corporate Control
Grandi joined SGS-THOMSON Microelectronics (now STMicroelectronics) in 1987 as a process engineer working in the semiconductor manufacturing technology development. In 1990, Grandi changed his career direction and moved to ST's Memory Product Group (MPG) as Financial Analyst. In 1995, he was appointed Group Controller and as a member of the MPG management contributed to the expansion of ST's flash memory business. In 2005, Grandi joined the Company's Corporate Finance organization taking responsibility for Bud-geting and Reporting. In this role, he also participated in the successful spin-out of ST's Flash memory business. In 2007, Grandi was promoted to Group Vice President, Director of Corporate Control.
Lorenzo Grandi was born in Sondrio, Italy, in 1961. He graduated cum laude in Physics from the University of Modena, Italy, and holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy.
