TL/CFL - Self-oscillating Ballast
Self-oscillating push-pull fluorescent lamp ballasts are widely replacing traditional magnetic ballasts especially since they can provide more efficient lamp control together with an increase in power factor. The self-oscillating push-pull topology can be applied efficiently with ST“s optimized power bipolar transistors. The following diagram proposes a wide range of the most useful products and devices applicable to high frequency ballast circuits.
