The
M41ST95W combines SPI Bus with a Microprocessor Supervisor,
a Serial RTC, and an NVRAM Supervisor, nicely packaged in ST's
new Embedded Crystal package. It saves space and reduces cost,
thereby providing the ultimate Supervisor for SPI Bus afficionados.
The M41ST95W's Power-fail Detect and Watchdog circuits manage
the microprocessor while its Battery Switchover and Write Protect
circuits provide Vcc and Chip Enable Gating to an external, Low-Power
SRAM, rendering it non-volatile.
