The M41ST87 operates from 2.7V
to 5.5V and is rated over the Industrial temperature range (–40
to 85°C).
Other features of the M41ST87 include a Serial Real-Time Clock
with Alarm and a Microprocessor Supervisor with Watchdog, Power-on
Reset, and Early Power-fail Warning. Plus, there is a Programmable
Squarewave Generator and a dedicated 32KHz Output, handy for applications
requiring 32KHz as a reference for synthesizing higher-speed system
clocks. The M41ST87's NVRAM Supervisor section provides Battery
Switchover and Write Protect for non-volatizing an external LPSRAM.
