An ideal general-purpose rogrammable
voltage reference, the TS3431 offers an
extended emperature range, adjustable
output voltage (1.24 to 24V), low current
consumption (0.4mA to 100mA), high precision
and small surface-mounted package. The
TS3431 is available in the space-saving
SOT23-3L package and the standard TO92,
3-pin package. It is also pin-topin compatible
with the industry standard TL431. The
TS3431 has a low operating current of
0.4mA, which is ideal for switch-mode
power supplies (SMPS) requiring low standby
current for power savings.

The TS3431’s low current consumption reduces the secondary-side current allowing the reduction of the overall power consumption for the entire power supply.
This environment-friendly feature is increasingly important, especially as many power supplies are continuously plugged in, with or without a load. |
