IGBT ModulesWith the introduction of Semikron's SEMITOP® power packages integrating PowerMESH™ IGBTs, ST has expanded its wide portfolio of power solutions.
This new product family provides optimum performance for switching operation, effective application ruggedness and high mechanical performance, matching the reliability requirements for industrial applications in all environmental conditions.

Today, the IGBT power module solution is widely used in both converter and inverter based applications. An appropriate IGBT module design, in terms of mechanical and electrical layout optimization, is essential for reliable and efficient operation of the entire system.

ST’s IGBT silicon and the power module layout have been developed to fit the rating and characteristics required by industrial standards. Thanks to the IGBT’s high switching performance and module system thermal features (DBC substrate, die routing and gel coating), the optimum solution for industrial appliances is ensured in all environmental operative conditions.
