Description
The STEVAL-ISA037V1 evaluation board is a step-down DC-DC converter based on the L6728, a single-phase step-down controller with integrated high-current drivers. The L6728 device, packaged in the compact VFQFPN 10, provides complete control logic and protection for simple implementation of general DC-DC converters. This four-layer PCB evaluation board shows the operation of the device in a general-purpose application. The input voltage can range from 5 V to 12 V and the output voltage is fixed at 1.25 V. The application can deliver an output current of up to 30 A. The switching frequency is 300 kHz.
