ST's automotive ICs, such as high and low-side drivers, and motor drivers, are supported by simple, low-cost evaluation boards. These eval boards allow the devices to be wired into a load and permit easy evaluation of device and application functionalities, as well as the auto-protection capability under hazardous conditions.

Easyboards are simple, low-cost evaluation tools that allow customers to wire-in VIPower M0-5 switches to a load.
This permits easy evaluation of the device and application functionalities, as well as the auto-protection capability under hazardous conditions. The Easyboard concept gives customers the ability to evaluate products without committing to the expense, time and resources typically necessary to design a customized circuit board.
Each evaluation board includes a high-side switch soldered onto a small 2-layer PCB with heavy copper and thermal vias, to support maximum device current and customer-configured thermal relief strategies. The interface is configured for standard headers or soldered wires.
Each Easyboard configuration is specific to a particular high-side driver device and package. Easyboard stock is available now for 12 V and 24 V devices in in PowerSS0-12 and PowerSS0-24 packages.
