Our process approach examines the interrelated activities of our company, identifying how they are organized and managed, in order to continuously enhance their efficiency and effectiveness. It is based on

ST has been engaged in a companywide ISO/TS certification process, as a single entity, since 2003. This approach requires strong standardization and rigorous key process definition. Deployment is verified yearly in each site by both internal and external audits.
Process Mapping
Process modeling provides a visual mapping of ST processes, which allows us to build a coherent, robust framework for our quality management system, and indentify and correct any disconnects among processes. ST processes according to three main types:
- Management processes, to design, deploy, pilot and measure our strategy throughout all its processes and activities
- Support processes, to manage the common resources, optimize the flow of other processes and acquire and use process data and information
- Main processes contributing to product realization from the identification of customer needs to their satisfaction
