ST’s DisplayPort smart converters allow you to easily design-in DisplayPort connectivity without necessarily having to completely rework the platform.  These devices are suitable for both embedded and box-to-box interface applications.

The latest smart converter products are DP1.2 and MobilityDisplayPort (MyDP) compliant, handling video resolutions up to 4K x 2K.

This grouping of products also includes DP 1.2 MST router ICs that split or concentrate DisplayPort streams, allowing applications to support multiple media streams to multiple screens, so that a single application can, for example, feed several different videos to numerous displays, simultaneously.
