The STEVAL-ILL033V1 demonstration board functions as the control board of a complete system which shows the capability of the STP24DP05 RGB LED driver to drive the RGB LED matrix display panel. The complete system includes one control board and one RGB LED matrix display panel.

The STEVAL-ILL033V1 control board employs the STM32F103VET6 microcontroller which is used to configure the display settings of the STP24DP05 display driver.

The control unit has a PS2 keyboard interface for data entry in which the color combinations of the display text and background can be configured during the run time.
