Lead-free Quality and Reliability
STMicroelectronics devices are requalified to ensure their resistance to new soldering temperatures requested by PC board mounting with Tin-Silver-Copper alloys : melting temperature of 217°C instead of 183°C for SnPb eutectic alloy.Materials Declaration

The Ecopack working group has selected 3 technologies (NiPdAu, Pure Sn and SnAgCu Ball) to match the different technical and quality requirements and cover the full spectrum of packages. The Conversion program applies both to internal and subcontractor production lines.
