2023 VLSI SYMPOSIUM

TECHNOLOGY AND CIRCUITS FOR THE CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE FUTURE

2023 IEEE SYMPOSIUM ON VLSI TECHNOLOGY & CIRCUITS
Date: 11 – 16 June,
Where: Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto, Japan
Go to the VLSI Symposium website and register here
Advanced Program available here

VLSI Symposium dates back to 1981 to provide an opportunity for world’s top technologists to engage in an open exchange of ideas on what was quickly becoming a revolution in the world’s industrial capability. Since then, the Symposium has been held annually and has developed into an important and valuable event for people working in the VLSI industry.
STMicroelectronics will attend and have an active role at the conference with Committee members, a paper presentation, a related demo and much more. Have a look here below for some more details and follow us at VLSI 2023!

Stellar G: Double memory and SMARTPOWER communication for software-defined vehicles.
Next-generation vehicles are moving towards software defined solutions, where functions and features are enabled by software that runs natively and is subject to OTA updates originating from the cloud to improve vehicle features, performance, and function over time.
Join us and discover our Phase Change Memory (PCM) built-in memory duplication provision for full OTA (“X2 mode”), which actually doubles the available PCM size in the Stellar G integration MCUs. The demonstration effectively programs two separate images that can be easily swapped. It also exploits the SMARTPOWER communication mode that reduces the device consumption by a factor of more than 100 versus nominal RUN mode to download additional images from an external PC to Stellar MCU.
