AI Everywhere Forum 2022

December 13-15, 2022
Virtual Conference

ST has been actively involved in AI research for many years and has applied its knowledge to develop tools that allow embedded developers to take advantage of AI techniques on ST microcontrollers and sensors. Join us at the AI Everywhere forum this year to explore this exciting area poised for rapid growth in the coming years.

The AI Everywhere Forum will provide insights into following areas:

  • AI Chips (December 13): Keeping up with these changes is no mean feat, especially given AI’s propensity to evolve at a staggering rate. How does one design chips for a constantly shifting workload like this? Technology trends such as chiplets and silicon photonics are emerging to boost performance for AI applications. What chips and systems are coming to the market for the data center, edge applications or ultra-low power systems, and how to choose between them?
  • AI Systems (December 14): What are the biggest challenges AI systems present today? There are as many types of AI system as there are electronic systems, but most need an optimal combination of prediction accuracy, power consumption and latency. AI is extremely compute and memory-hungry; what’s the best way to meet these demands in systems with limited resources? What accelerator modules/cards best suit data center and edge systems?
  • AI Tools & Software (December 15): AI hardware is of course only half the battle. New types of accelerators require brand new software stacks to function. All applications need models and training data to work effectively. And a new breed of AI platforms is emerging to help embedded designers to curate their AI models and datasets to help guarantee success.

The conference starts each day at 15:00 CET/Paris time (9:00am EST/New York time) and runs until around 19:00 CET/Paris time (1:00pm EST/New York time)

ST Expert Presentation

Create an advanced edge AI solution rapidly with NanoEdge AI Studio

Date: December 13

In this presentation we will walk you through the creation of a machine learning at the edge solution. We will start with the creation of a data logger, go through data collection and then create our machine learning algorithm, while we will be focusing on a single use case NanoEdge AI studio is sensor agnostic and the steps in this demo can be applied to any sensor type or combination of sensors. We will end this session with an overview of performances indicators and an evaluation of our algorithm performances ending-up with a ready to implement on any STM32 machine learning algorithm. In this session we will focus on the limitations of real-world project development with relatively limited datasets, costs and power constraints as well as limited development time.
