Motion MEMS and Environmental Sensor Development System webinar
Developing with Sensors Made SimpleWebinar Recording from: Wednesday, June 5th , 2019 |
Watch the 1-hour webinar recording to discover the easy way to add advanced motion and environmental sensing to your design.
During the session you will learn how to use ST’s X-Nucleo-IKS01A3 motion MEMS and environmental sensor board to jump-start your next sensor project. The board features ST’s newest and most advanced low-power and high-accuracy sensors, including a 6DoF inertial measurement unit (IMU), a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer, a nano pressure sensor, and a digital temperature sensor for on-board temperature calibration in the final application.
We will also demonstrate how our X-CUBE-MEMS1 software expansion pack for STM32CubeMX makes it easy to set up the sensors, log sensor data, optimize sensor configurations and leverage embedded smart sensor functions.
Agenda:
- Introduction to ST's newest sensors and the X-Nucleo-IKS01A3 sensor board.
- Starting a project using STM32CubeMX and the X-CUBE-MEMS1 software pack.
- How to set up the sensors, log sensor data, optimize sensor configurations and leverage embedded smart sensor functions.

About the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 motion MEMS and environmental sensor board system
The X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 is compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 connector layout and features the LSM6DSO 3-axis accelerometer + 3-axis gyroscope, the LIS2MDL 3-axis magnetometer, the LIS2DW12 3-axis accelerometer, the HTS221 humidity and temperature sensor, the LPS22HH pressure sensor, and the STTS751 temperature sensor.
The X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 interfaces with the STM32 microcontroller via the I²C pin, and it is possible to change the default I²C port.
