Power over Ethernet PD controllers webinar
Discover how the latest Powered Device (PD) controllers offer state-of-the-art solutions for PoE applicationsDuration: One-hour |
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a widely adopted technology used to transfer both data and electrical power over an RJ-45 cable.
During this one-hour video you will be introduced to STMicroelectronics’ solutions for PoE applications on the powered device (PD) side that are fully compliant with the latest IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards.
We will explore the basics of ST’s PoE products and their key features, along with an overview of the different PoE standards. We will also include a detailed description of the architectures available to deliver power through an Ethernet cable, and describe the rich ecosystem of support material and evaluation tools available to facilitate the design process.
Topics Covered:
- PoE concepts and standards
- New PD types and classes in the IEEE 802.3bt standard
- The building blocks of PD power management
- PoE-PD system partitioning
- ST's PD-PoE solutions offering
