With our STM32 MCU family, we are constantly pushing back the boundaries of power consumption and device security.

The new-generation STM32U5 series with 40nm technology is the flagship of ultra-low power MCUs. Combining the Arm Cortex-M33 core with TrustZone with an extremely small power footprint and the latest device protections, the STM32U5 is ideal for various applications in consumer and industrial markets.

In this one-hour webinar, we will first focus on the new device IP present on the STM32U5, the Low Power Background Autonomous Mode (LPBAM), which allows for efficient data communication to retain core power. We will then present our new power supply architecture that includes best-in class DC/DC and LDO selection.

Our experts will also explain how the innovative security blocks, such as HUK, along with industry certifications, take cyber protection to a new level and can help developers streamline their IoT design process. Lastly, we will go through the new additions to the STM32 ecosystem that speed up time to market, including new middleware and development kits.

Agenda

  • Introduction to the new STM32U5 and ultra-low power footprint
  • Focus on new device IP (LPBAM) and power management (Integrated DC/DC) architecture to maximize power budget/consumption
  • Deeper dive into our security IP (HUK) along with certifications (PSA Level3)
  • Latest additions to our ecosystem focusing on middleware offering along with TF-M offering

There will be a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar where ST's experts will be available to answer your questions.
