Achieve outstanding RF design with BlueNRG-x and S2LP
During this one-day hands-on training seminar, we will present ST’s innovative BlueNRG-2 and S2-LP RF products, and demonstrate how to use ST’s rich set of dedicated development tools to achieve an optimal RF design while also reducing development time and effort.
You will learn:
- About the BlueNRG-2 and S2-LP features and capabilities
- Which ST device is best suited for your RF design
- How to select the right tool from our RF development ecosystem to help with your project
The seminar is based on the BlueNRG and/or S2-LP Discovery Kit. All attendees will receive a complimentary Discovery Kit that they can take home!

Bluetooth® low energy wireless system-on-chip
The BlueNRG-2 is a very low power Bluetooth low energy (BLE) single-mode system-on-chip, compliant with Bluetooth specifications.
The BlueNRG-2 extends the features of award-winning BlueNRG network processor, enabling the usage of the embedded Cortex M0 to run the user application code.
The BlueNRG-2 offers the same excellent RF performance of the BlueNRG radio, and the integrated high efficiency DC-DC converter keeps the same ultra-low power characteristics, but the BlueNRG-2 improves the BlueNRG sleep mode current consumption allowing a further increase in the battery lifetime of the applications.
S2-LP, ultra-low power, high performance, sub-1GHz transceiver
The S2-LP is a high performance ultra-low power RF transceiver, intended for RF wireless applications in the sub-1 GHz band. It is designed to operate in both the license-free ISM and SRD frequency bands at 433, 512, 868 and 920 MHz, but can also be programmed to operate at other additional frequencies in the 413-479 MHz, 452-527 MHz, 826-958 MH, 904-1055 MHz bands.
The S2-LP can be used in systems with channel spacing down to 1 kHz enabling the narrow band operations.
The S2-LP shows an RF link budget higher than 140 dB for long communication ranges and meets the regulatory requirements applicable in territories worldwide, including Europe, Japan, China and the USA.
