Webinar | Motor Control Solutions for Low-Voltage Stepper and Brushless DC Motors

Motor control solutions for low-voltage stepper and brushless DC motors

Watch the 1-hour video on the design of motor control solutions, focusing on stepper and brushless DC (BLDC) motors.

In this online session we will introduce the STSPIN family and our portfolio of motor control drivers for stepper, DC and 3-phase, brushed and brushless motors.

A motor control solution is typically composed of 3 main blocks: a microcontroller, a gate driver, and power transistors, in addition to the motor. These can be combined in different combinations to support integration and reduce the overall form factor. We will discuss ST’s different options and describe when each combination would be most beneficial, with focus on stepper and BLDC motors.

You will learn about ST's portfolio of motor control devices, when to use a discrete or integrated solution, and the available tools and ecosystem for motor control development.
