As a result, implementing effective protection against surges and other electrical disturbances is critical in circuit design to optimize the safety, lifetime, and reliability of end-applications.

Angel Galarza is a Staff Technical Marketing Engineer supporting Power Discrete and Protection products portfolio at STMicroelectronics, a position he has held since 2018. He began his career 1996 as Quality and product Engineering for Transformers and inductors. Angel joined ST supporting analog power and sensors at system level for mass market customers in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest regions. Angel is from Ensenada Baja California, Mexico and graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California with a BS in Electronic Engineering.
