Leader of South Asia and India Technical Marketing and Field Application team, has 26 years experience in Power Electronics. He is especially adept in Switching Power Supply design given his long R&D experience. He likes to mingle with Engineers and provide useful insights in latest technologies in ST arsenal.
Holding a Masters Degree in Power Electronics from Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT Delhi ) . He has experience of Power Supply Design activities in various organizations before joining ST Microelectronics. He joined ST in 2011 as Product Marketing Manager for Power products mainly to create technical awareness and demand creation for Power Application activities in India . He is presently working as Sr. Manager - Technical Marketing for Power Discrete and Sub Analog Group with major Focus on segments like Power Supply , EV Chargers and Lighting.
Holding Bachelor degree in Power electronics and Advanced diploma in Electronics & controls engineering in 1999. He is currently working in STMicroelectronics since 2007, responsible to support field applications and design support activities of customer using our Power discrete & analog devices- MOSFET, SiC, IGBT, Rectifiers, Offline SMPS controllers, DC-DC converters and various other product divisions, applications covering cosumer, industrial segments and EV applications. He gained vast experience in the field of medium to high power systems in his past career while worked in heavy Power conditioing systems, Railways electric Locomotive converters and battery chargers, IPS for railway signalling applications as well as PDP /LCD power supplies designing.
