STM32F0x1マイクロコントローラは、8bit/16bitマイコンを使用しているアプリケーションに対し、32bitマイコン・プラットフォームの導入を促進します。ホーム・エンターテインメント製品、家電製品、産業用機器などのニーズに対して、16KB~256KBのFlashメモリ、最大32KBのSRAMの他、USART、SPI、I²C、HMDI CECなど複数の通信インタフェース、および16bit PWMモータ制御タイマを搭載した製品を展開し、幅広い選択肢で対応します。これらの製品は20ピン~100ピン・パッケージで提供されます。
STのSTM32F0x1シリーズの最新製品であるSTM32F091は、最大8chのUSARTなどの豊富な機能を小型のWLCSPとBGAを含む48ピン~100ピンのパッケージで提供されます。256KBのオンチップFlashメモリと32KBのSRAMを搭載しているのでJavaスタックを実装可能です。また、CAN 2.0a/bは、産業用および車載オーディオ用アプリケーション向けの通信機能を追加します。
