Op Amps: Precision in small signal amplification webinar
Understanding operational amplifier parameters and accuracy measurements
Tuesday, June 18th 2019│3:00 pm CEST
Join our webinar to learn about the Zero-Drift advantage: ST's all-new family of precision operational amplifiers providing unmatched accuracy and low power consumption.
Sensors in today’s world are used extensively to measure weight, read temperature, identify VOCs, control speed, and more. Although we live in an increasingly digital world, many sensors today continue to operate in the analog domain with most of them providing an extremely small signal that needs to be amplified.
Operational amplifiers (op amps) are the primary link between these analog sensors and the digital world. This session will provide an introduction to op amp parameters and explore the theoretical foundations of precision in these devices. You’ll learn the fundamentals of the four underlying parameters affecting precision and their practical impact on measurement accuracy, and receive an update on ST's newest precision op amps.
- Operational amplifier basics
- The key op amp parameters affecting precision
- Vio – input offset voltage
- CMRR – Common Mode Rejection Ratio
- Iib – Input bias current
- Other key op amp parameters
- Zero-Drift vs. standard precision amplifiers - pros and cons
- ST operational amplifier product line and 2019 featured products
There will be a live Q&A session at the end of the webinar where ST’s experienced engineers will be available to answer your questions.
There is no charge to participate in this event, but it is necessary to register through my.st.com.
