The STPRDC01 smart driver implements a control scheme specific to secondary-side synchronous rectification in STVCOT™-based resonant / non-resonant converters.
It provides two high current gate drive outputs, each capable of driving one or more N-channel Low-Side Power MOSFETs. Both gate driver are controlled by the combination of START input and the embedded predictive ZCD/ZVS control assuring the two external power MOSFETs to be switched in zero-voltage / zero-current conditions to achieve high efficiency power conversion.
High-Impedance mode can be configured with the two external Power MOSFETs immediately kept OFF.
The STPRDC01 is available in DFN12, 3x3 mm package with exposed pad.
