Proximity sensors detect the presence or the distance to nearby objects without any physical contact. They can be built using a variety of principles including variation in capacitance or inductance for metallic targets, infrared, or by measuring the time-of-flight (ToF) of photons in a light beam.
Our FlightSense™ technology enables accurate – down to the millimeter – proximity sensing, independent of the physical characteristics of the target’s reflecting surface. In addition, we have a range of STM8 and STM32 microcontrollers, DC-DC switching and linear voltage regulators and high-precision operational amplifiers.
