Get Started

Vacuum cleaner technology has evolved such that the vacuums of today have greater suction power than their predecessors, while being smaller, lighter and quieter. They are also more energy efficient, a key factor for battery-powered models in particular.

To aid in the design of efficient motor control solutions for the motors used in modern vacuum cleaners (e.g. 3-phase brushless, universal, etc.), ST offers a wide range of STM32 microcontrollers, power MOSFETs, IGBTs and intelligent power modules (IPMs), triacs and AC switches together with high-voltage gate drivers, as well as a complete set of hardware and software evaluation and development tools.

In addition, we have a full range of AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion solutions and environmental and motion sensors that are ideal for the design of highly efficient, smarter vacuum cleaners.
