Network Attached Storage (NAS)

Network-Attached Storage (NAS) is a purpose-built specialized server containing one or more storage drives, often arranged into logical, redundant containers or RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). Connected to the network, it provides file-level data access to a group of clients. Compared to general-purpose servers, NAS systems bring faster data access, easier administration, and simpler configuration.
