Power monitoring is a critical function to enable the highest efficiency in data and networking centers. By combining and analyzing environmental data and power metering data, installation managers can adapt data center cooling systems to ensure that all the machines are always running at the optimal temperature for highest efficiency. Ensuring servers are running at the correct temperature also increases their lifespan while lowering the power they consume and the heat that they generate.
