Local and Cloud Access Functions Packs provide a reference implementation for connecting Nucleo-based applications with local and private networks or directly with cloud service providers without the need for developers to write specific code.
On top of standard protocols for Internet connectivity available in Wi-Fi modules, third-party libraries are included to offer pre-built support of application level networking protocols such as the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) required for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Nowadays, local and cloud connectivity capabilities represent a fundamental and pervasive building block for many final user applications including consumer electronics, fitness and healthcare, home and building automation, home appliances, portable and wearable devices, toys and entertainment, audio and video transmission, to mention a few.
Application examples are included to directly demonstrate connectivity features and to show how easy it can be to collect, transmit, store and retrieve data in real-time both in cloud-based applications and in local networks.
