On-board chargers (OBC) now enjoy improved creepage distance with our new high-voltage D²PAK for bridge rectifier diodes

ST now offers a new series of 1200 V bridge rectifier diodes for on-board battery chargers (OBC) for all types of vehicles. Thanks to the high-voltage D²PAK package, the creepage distance between the anode and cathode is improved from 1.38 mm for standard D²PAK devices to a minimum of 3.48 mm. These diodes feature a specific V RRM guaranteed from -40 to +175 °C, and ultra-low conduction losses match bridge rectification requirements.
These new 1200 V bridge rectifier diodes are available in surface-mount, high voltage D²PAK packages in both AEC-Q101-qualified automotive-grade ( STBR3012G2Y-TR) and industrial-grade ( STBR3012G2-TR) versions.
