The STM32L5 is based on Arm® Cortex-M33 and TrustZone® technology combined with STMicroelectronics security implementation. On your STM32L562E-DK discovery board, TrustZone is disabled (factory setting) and you can develop as on any other STM32 device. This video shows how to enable TrustZone on STM32L562E-DK discovery using STM32CubeProgrammer and create, compile and debug or run a new project with STM32CubeIDE. - The new STM32L0x0 Value line incorporates the efficient 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core operating at 32 MHz, embedded memories (128 Kbytes of Flash program memory, 512 bytes of data EEPROM and 20 Kbytes of RAM). This STM32L0x0 Value line provides high power efficiency over a wide performance range. This is achieved with a large choice of internal and external clock sources, internal voltage adaptation, and several lowpower modes.
- The new STM32L412 (no crypto) and STM32L422 (with crypto) devices extend the STM32L4 series with Flash density from 128 to 64 Kbytes. Ideal for cost-sensitive applications, low-pin-count-packages choices range from 32-pin LQFP (5x5mm) to 64-pin BGA (5x5mm) including 36-pin WLCSP (2.58x3.07 mm). Developers will appreciate the slim-form-factor NUCLEO-L412KB board and NUCLEO-L412RB-P including a step down converter.
- The new STM32L4P5/Q5 MCUs bring additional options to the STM32L4+ series, delivering lower Flash-density devices from 512 Kbytes to 1 Mbyte and 1 Mbyte respectively. Ideal for cost-sensitive applications, these microcontrollers come in low-pin packages ranging from 48-pin QFN (7x7mm) to 169-pin BGA (7x7mm). Development tools including the 144-pin NUCLEO-L4P5ZG board and the STM32L4P5G-DK discovery kit are available.
