ALASKA allows you to automate the management of millions of devices from the cloud, including touchless provisioning, firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updates, data read operation, control commands, and more. It is the most efficient LwM2M server for device power consumption and communication bandwidth, and communication can be triggered by devices or by the server, so as to preserve battery life. Communications are authenticated and encrypted according to LwM2M standards, including OSCORE end-to-end encryption. Additional features allow the support of multi-tenant operations, and allow you to create groups of devices and trigger command scripts upon device events. ALASKA is the perfect fit for IOWA's STM32 client, created to allow for the most efficient communication possible and lower power consumption. Although IOWA will work with any LwM2M server, we recommend using ALASKA for the greatest power efficiency possible.
