Single-channel eFuses protect a variety of applications, ranging from simple power adapters to complex industrial control systems and high-end enterprise computing or data storage platforms. ST’s single-channel electronic fuses deliver flexible and fast-acting protection for a wide range of applications.

Applications

The high-power portfolio includes fully configurable eFuses for applications with a wide operating voltage range (such as the industrial 12V, 24V, and 36V buses). We also offer high-current eFuses and current-limited load switches designed to protect add-in cards and the main bus in server and network equipment.

Product types

ST’s offer includes low-power devices tailored for a defined voltage rail (3.3V, 5V or 12V) and dual-mode devices operating either in a 3.3V or 5V domain. Protection functions of the single-channel eFuses include fixed or adjustable overcurrent protection, soft-start, undervoltage lockout, overvoltage clamp and thermal shutdown. Latch-off or auto-retry versions are available on specific part numbers.

Single-channel eFuses are available in power efficient DFN/QFN, standard TSOT23 / TSSOP, and tiny wafer level CSP packages.
