A representative example is the development of a STMicroelectronics USB Type-C power hub demonstrator. From an existing drawing, Inocess handled the full engineering process until the manufacturing of the first small serie of demonstrator including firmware and application software.
This device whose purpose is to present the functionalities of the USB Type-C power management chips of STMicroelectronics is a USB type-C power delivery Multi-port Hub with source and sink roles, either standalone or microcontroler driven. Able to deliver 85W, this power hub composed of 2 type-C ports with power delivery with 5 PDOs and 2 type A ports includes power security tests and PDO selection and adaptation.
