Post-Quantum Cryptography

NesLib-PQML: PQC-ready software libraries for quantum-safe solutions

Post‑quantum cryptography (PQC) introduces quantum‑resistant algorithms that will gradually replace RSA and ECC in connected devices. STMicroelectronics makes this transition smooth and robust with PQC‑ready hardware and software libraries that integrate alongside today’s cryptography for hybrid upgrades, preserving existing architectures while adding quantum‑safe protection.

NesLib-PQML 1: certified ML-KEM library

NesLib-PQML 1 is ST’s first post-quantum cryptographic library supporting the ML-KEM (FIPS-203) algorithm. Supported by the ST33K1M5 hardware platform, it targets SIM/eSIM, Secure Element, and TPM products, helping developers protect embedded systems from quantum threats. This software is the first Common Criteria EAL5+ certified under the latest EUCC framework (CC:2022), ensuring top security standards. This library can be integrated in applications targeting Common Criteria certification.
