The STA8600A delivers high-accuracy quad-band positioning with minimal external components, helping reduce BOM cost and simplify design. With up to quad-band reception and a PPP/RTK engine for precise positioning, it offers reliable lane-level positioning for advanced applications. Its pin-to-pin compatibility with the STA9200MA (ASIL-B) enables a flexible single-PCB strategy across platforms.


The STA8610A extends the capabilities of the STA8600A with an optional extended 4-Mbyte RAM to run custom algorithms, as well as an external QSPI Flash and RAM interface. This gives customers the flexibility to add application-specific processing, optimize performance, and scale their design from standard navigation to advanced positioning and sensor-fusion applications. 


The STA9200MA (ASIL-B version) embeds special firmware and operates dual cores in lockstep, providing hardware redundancy to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety specifications. For customers, this delivers a safety-ready positioning solution that helps reduce system-level effort for functional safety qualification and supports safer deployment in automotive applications.

The modules integrate the GNSS chipset and critical RF components, including the TCXO, RTC, SAW filter, and RF front-end, into a compact package with fewer pins and an EMI shield.
