Technology qualification is the final step of the Company technology platform development key process.
The purpose of this process is to develop new technology platforms and new packages to meet the most severe customer requirements, including AUTOMOTIVE MISSION PROFILE, the Company product portfolio strategy and the internal technology and package roadmaps.
The technology platform development process includes all activities to supply advanced and competitive design platforms and production technologies for silicon and packaging. It supports new product familydesign and product implementation.
The process flow is composed of different activities performed in parallel and regrouped in successive phases: feasibility, definition, design and development, validation, and qualification.
At the end of the process, the qualified technology platform or new package is released to volume production.
