| STMicroelectronics has extended the
junction temperature range of the BTA/BTB Snubberless Triacs to
150 °C, enhancing at the same time the dynamic characteristics.
These new HiTj Triacs, together with the new ACST2, ACST10 and
ACST12 autoprotected devices and the STCC08 power driver with
diagnostic, ensure safer and higher-performance applications with
competitive solutions.
With the HiTj Triacs, the resulting smaller heatsink and smaller
packages for the delivered current will contribute to cost savings,
while immune devices and systems will lower maintenance costs
and increase customer fidelity.
