The demo is powered by a STM32N6 microcontroller to run a gesture recognition model through the N6's built-in NPU, coupled with the VD66GY high-sensitivity color image sensor, to achieve gesture recognition. Then, by using the STM32MP257 PLC demonstration board to convert the data format of the 21 identified key point data, the motion of the 15 servo motors of the dexterous hand can be controlled to achieve real-time tracking of gestures by the dexterous hand.
The ST60A2 is an RF millimeter-wave transceiver product operating in the 60 GHz VBand. It provides a very power efficient and high data-rate wireless link enabling freedom from physical cables and connectors for short-range (a few cm) point-topoint communications, using a variety of external antennas (such as patch antennas designed on PCB or highly directive SMT horn antennas allowing both end-fire and broadside radiation patterns).
This factory automation demo panel features a PLC solution based on STM32MP257, an HMI solution based on STM32MP135, and a servo drive solution with STSPIN32G4. It includes an EtherCAT interface IO-Link Master to manage industrial sensors (vibration, TOF distance measurement, RFID) and actuators (4-ch low side IPS for tower light, 32-ch high side IPS for solenoid air valves). The IO-Link Master also handles 8-ch digital input and output. Sensors control actuators via programmable logic. The HMI panel displays device status and allows direct control. The panel includes a high-density servo drive with STO function, testable via HMI.
The Ki Cordless Kitchen System revolutionizes culinary convenience with advanced technology. ST IH series IGBTs ensure efficient power management, while the STM32G4 MCU provides precise control and seamless operation. Integrated ST NFC technology enables effortless connectivity, making device pairing simple. For enhanced security, ST SAFE safeguards user data, ensuring a secure cooking environment. These components create a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly kitchen experience, transforming everyday cooking into a futuristic, hassle-free activity.
The demo detects human presence and reacts to hand control behavior to wake up and responds to instructions. It is powered by VL53L8CX which is an 8x8 multizone, ToF ranging sensor, which enhances performance under ambient light with a reduced power consumption.
The ISPU (Intelligent Sensor Processing unit) is ST’s latest Edge Computing core. DSP code developed by application is able to be ported into the ISPU and runs in the IMU sensor. FT (Fourier Transform) is one of the essential function for condition monitoring in today’s AI enabled Industrial. SDFT(Sliding Discrete Fourier Transform) is loaded into this AI core to demonstrate the capability of the ISPU.
An Accelerometer embeds a vAFE (vertical analog front-end) and an AI core with Machine Learning and Finite State Machine. It is able to detect biopotentials by means of the external electrodes connected to the device so as to provide the data for ENG, ECG, EEG, Heart rate and Motion Detection applications.
