Longevity Commitment

STMicroelectronics provides a minimum longevity commitment of 15 years for a set of Automotive products listed below.

SPC5 MCU

For SPC5 32-bit automotive microcontrollers designed using Power Architecture®  and ST’s embedded Flash technology the 15 years longevity commitment starts from the following dates:

  • SPC56 B Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC56 C Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC56 D Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC56 P Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC56 L Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC56 M Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC56 A Lines, starting January 2014
  • SPC57 S Lines starting October 2015
  • SPC57 L Lines starting October 2015

The 15 years longevity commitment includes the period of notification as set forth in the standard STMicroelectronics end-of-life notification policy (PTN).

In case of significant volume decrease, technology or manufacturing changes, a switch to a comparable product, another technology or a different manufacturing facility could be decided by STMicroelectronics, who will notify customers using the standard STMicroelectronics product/process change policy (PCN).

Longevity Commitment

STMicroelectronics provides a minimum longevity commitment of 10 years for a set of products listed below.

STM32 and STM8 MCU

For STM32 ARM® Cortex®-M and STM8 microcontrollers the 10 years longevity commitment starts from the following dates:

  • STM32F0 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32F1 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32F2 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32F3 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32F4 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32F7 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32L0 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32L1 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM32L4 Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM8AF Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM8AL Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM8L Series, starting January 1st 2016
  • STM8S Series, starting January 1st 2016

MEMS sensors

For MEMS sensors the 10 years longevity commitment starts from the following dates:

  • IIS328DQ, starting March 1st 2015
  • IIS2DH, starting March 1st 2015
  • I3G4250D, starting March 1st 2015

The 10 years longevity commitment includes the period of notification as set forth in the standard STMicroelectronics end-of-life notification policy (PTN).

In case of significant volume decrease, technology or manufacturing changes, a switch to a comparable product, another technology or a different manufacturing facility could be decided by  STMicroelectronics who will notify customers using the standard STMicroelectronics product/process change policy (PCN).

Operational Amplifiers

STMicroelectronics provides a minimum longevity commitment of 10 years for a set of products series listed below:

  • TSB series, starting June 1st 2016
  • TSU series, starting June 1st 2016
  • TSV series, starting June 1st 2016
  • TSX series, starting June 1st 2016
  • TSZ series, starting June 1st 2016

The 10 years longevity commitment includes the period of notification as set forth in the standard STMicroelectronics end-of-life notification policy (PTN).

For FlightSense® photonics sensors, the 7 years longevity commitment starts from the following dates:

  • VL6180X, starting January 1st 2015

The 7 years longevity commitment includes the period of notification as set forth in the standard STMicroelectronics end-of-life notification policy (PTN).

In case of significant volume decrease, technology or manufacturing changes, a switch to a comparable product, another technology or a different manufacturing facility could be decided by STMicroelectronics who will notify customers using the standard STMicroelectronics product/process change policy (PCN).
