STMicroelectronics’ SPC560P, SPC56EL, MCU families are members of a set of 32-bit Flash microcontrollers dedicated to the specific needs of chassis and safety applications with special focus on functional safety and advanced three-phase motor control.

Integrated safety: SPC56EL global SIL3/ASILD safety implementation including a sphere of replication, HW diagnostic capability (BIST), centralized fault collection and control unit - HW safety measures release application processing power since not relying on SW measures
SPC56EL unique configurability: use of both e200z4d cores in either highest safety integrity mode (lock-step) or performance mode (parallel)
