Explore solid-state innovations with ST

For the fifth consecutive year, STMicroelectronics proudly continues its sponsorship of the European Solid-State Electronics Research Conference (ESSERC), reaffirming its role as a major European player in the semiconductor field. This year, ST is once again a gold sponsor of ESSERC 2025, held in Munich, Germany.

ESSERC stands as the premier European meeting point for scientists from both academia and industry, focusing on the latest advancements in solid-state devices and circuits. The conference emphasizes the growing importance of system-on-chip integration and the essential collaboration among technologists, device experts, IC designers, and system architects.

At ESSERC 2025, ST experts will present cutting-edge developments in semiconductor technology through a comprehensive program that includes 1 invited plenary talk, 2 invited tutorials, 2 peer-selected papers, and 4 demonstrations at the ST booth.

ST’s strong involvement is also reflected in its leadership roles within the conference. Denis Rideau serves as an elected member of the Steering Committee, while Andreia Cathelin is a nominated Steering Committee member representing the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS), the IEEE society dedicated to integrated circuit design activities.

The Technical Program Committee includes Giuseppe Desoli, Andrea Redaelli, Paras Garg, Sylvain Clerc, Giulio Ricotti, Sara Pellegrini, Cedric Tubert, Philippe Cathelin, and Marco Zamprogno, further demonstrating ST’s deep engagement in shaping the conference’s technical direction.
