無停電電源(UPS)は、停電が発生した場合、バッテリやバッテリ・バンクからのDC電圧を必要な振幅と周波数のAC電圧に変換することにより、継続的な電源供給を保証します。

アプリケーションの要件に応じて、UPSはシンプルなオフライン構成、またはハイエンド中/大電力UPS向けのダブル・コンバージョン・オンライン方式で構築できます。UPSは、コンピュータ、サーバ、産業プロセス機器、計測装置、通信機器などの敏感な負荷に供給する電力の質を向上させることもできます。

STは、高耐圧/低耐圧パワーMOSFET、IGBT、サイリスタ、シリコン・カーバイド(SiC)ダイオードとパワーMOSFETなどの高性能ディスクリート・デバイスに加え、ガルバニック絶縁型/高電圧ゲート・ドライバ、力率補正(PFC)コントローラ、および高性能マイクロコントローラSTM32の提供により、高効率で信頼性の高いUPSの設計をサポートしています。
