ワイヤレスM-Bus(ワイヤレス・メータ・バス)は、電力効率の非常に高いスマート・メータリング・アプリケーションやAMI(Advanced Metering Infrastructure)アプリケーションのために開発されたオープン規格です。ヨーロッパ各国で急速に普及し、電気ガス水道のメータリングに使われています。

ワイヤレスM-Busネットワーク(wM-Bus)は、EN 13757規格に定められている、マスタ機器とスレーブ機器から成るスター型トポロジに基づいています。この規格にはS、T、R、C(868MHz)、F(433MHz)、N(169MHz)などの動作モードが含まれています。

STは、さまざまなSub-GHzトランシーバ、バラン、STM32マイコンとあわせて、wM-Busゲートウェイの評価やサンプル実装に向けた無料のwM-Busファームウェア・スタックなど、多数のソフトウェア・ライブラリも提供しています。さらに、wM-Busネットワークの迅速な開発および展開を可能にするハードウェア・ツールも展開しています。
